The Macallan The Harmony Collection by FRESH COCONUT 46,3% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

The Macallan The Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky and the sixth and final edition of the Macallan Harmony Collection. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV and presented in a 0.7 l bottle with a giftbox.

For this release, The Macallan's Whisky Mastery team set out to spotlight a trait the distillery rarely puts front and centre: coconut. The character is not created with added flavourings but comes from the casks themselves. Specially selected sherry-seasoned American oak casks, whose wood is naturally rich in oak lactones, play the leading role, while bourbon casks are used alongside them to refine the profile further.

As the closing chapter, Inspired by Fresh Coconut takes the collection back to The Macallan Estate and revisits the long-running collaboration with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca.

The packaging follows the coconut theme too. Discarded coconut fibres are worked into the paper of the giftbox, and coconut shells and fibres are turned into charcoal in an emission-free burning process, giving the paper its natural dark colour. This limited edition combines deliberate cask selection, Speyside craftsmanship and a distinctive packaging concept to round off the six-part series.
