The Silkie Irish Whiskey Limited Moscatel Cask Release 51,9% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

The Legendary Silkie Irish Whiskey Limited Moscatel Cask Release is a powerful special bottling from Sliabh Liag Distillers in County Donegal, Ireland. The Legendary Silkie brand draws on the old legends of the Irish coast and offers a modern take on Donegal's historic whiskey traditions.

This edition is bottled at cask strength, 51.9% ABV, and given a finish in Moscatel wine casks. Moscatel is an aromatic grape variety, and casks that once held it can lend a whiskey extra fruitiness, sweetness and spicy depth. The result pairs Irish whiskey tradition with a southern European wine-cask influence.

Bottling at cask strength preserves the full intensity of the cask maturation, and lets you adjust the strength to your own taste with a little water. It comes in a 0.7-litre bottle presented in a giftbox, and is aimed at fans of bold Irish whiskeys with a distinctive cask finish.
