The Kracher winery is located in Burgenland, in the Seewinkel region. The family business, which is under the management of Gerhard Kracher, specializes in sweet wines such as Beerenauslesen, Trockenbeerenauslesen and ice wines. In the vineyards are grown Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel and also Zweigelt grapes. Due to the excellent climate and soil conditions, the harvest is always first class.

Tasting notes:

Dark ruby red in the glass. On the nose floral notes of dark berries. On the palate juicy with a subtle spiciness of various herbs, dark berry confit, stewed plums and ripe cherries. Long lasting on the finish.

Grape variety: Zweigelt.
Aging: steel tank, 24 months in barriques.
Residual sugar: 3,4 g/l.
Acidity: 4,5 g/l.
Drinking temperature: 16-18°C.

This wine is excellent with beef steak, spaghetti bolognese and spicy hard cheeses.
