In the glass, the wine is a dense purple with ruby red edges. The nose is dominated by ripe fruit, underpinned by a fine aroma of caramel and a complex interplay of berry fruit, roasted aromas and oak spice. On the palate, the Big John Cuvée Reserve 2023 is multi-layered and concentrated, with powerful but ripe tannins, a rich fruit richness and a toasty oak flair that gives the wine depth and length.
