The Cava de Oro brand stands for high-quality 100% agave tequila, which comes from the Tequilera Puerta de Hierro. This distillery, located in El Arenal Jalisco, Mexico, produces handcrafted tequilas. The blue agaves are carefully harvested to ensure the best quality. Four varieties are then distilled: Plata, Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo. The Cava de Oro Añejo tequila, which is matured for two years, is very popular.

It matures longer than the minimum period of one year in the barrel required for the designation Añejo. Activated charcoal filtering makes the tequila crystal clear without losing any of its taste. The result is a crystal-clear 100% agave tequila that has the complexity of an añejo tequila.
