The Macallan M 2022 is one of the darkest bottlings of The Macallan.
The bottle was designed in collaboration with Fabien Barons and Lalique. An expressive decanter in the shape of a black crystal.
Lalique is one of the leading companies in the crystal glass industry in France. Fabien Baron is the creative director of the Baron & Baron brand.

Through the constant evolution of Macallan, this whisky became more profound than most smoky Macallan's before.
The distillates used for Macallan are carefully selected by hand.
They are stored in former sherry casks. The oak casks are selected by the Macallan Master of Wood.
Due to the storage in special wooden barrels, the Macallan M Black gets its pleasant and natural flavors.

This Macallan Decanter series defines the heart of Macallan.

Limited to 1895 bottles.

Colour: Natural amber.
Nose: Sweet of black cherries, demerara sugar, oak aromas, leather, vanilla notes, chocolate.
Taste: Herbal notes, licorice, tea leaves, chocolate, wood flavors.
Finish: Long lasting, dried fruit, dark chocolate.
