In the glass, the wine presents a deep, dark ruby ​​red with light brick-red reflections, an indication of its bottle aging. Complex aromas of dried plums, dark berries, tobacco, cedarwood, and delicate vanilla captivate the nose. On the palate, it is very harmonious with ripe tannins, balanced acidity, and notes of roasted coffee, spices, leather, and balsamic nuances. The finish is long, silky, and complex.

The Baron de Ley Gran Reserva 2018 pairs perfectly with grilled or braised lamb, beef, or game. It also accompanies mature hard cheeses or spicy stews with an Iberian character.
