Chivas Regal 12 Years Old Blended Scotch Whisky 40% Vol. 1l in Giftbox

The Chivas Brothers' Blend was created as an exclusive tribute to the Chivas brothers. This 12-year-old Blend consists of higher proportions of Strathisla and Longmorn Single Malts.

In this Chivas the malt content is noticeably increased compared to the standard 12. The two nuclear distilleries 'Longmorn' and 'Strathisla' stand out and with 12 years of age the mixture has also matured properly. 

From the aromas, a successful all-round impact is built into a very gentle overall picture. A nice blend with a high level of drinking pleasure.

Nose

Lots of juicy oranges, vanilla and caramel, gentle clouds of smoke drift by in the background, lemons, the malts dominate the action, the grain portion adds the necessary bite, apples, everything is rather soft and round, cream toffee, nice notes of barley waft around the olfactory receptors, very lightly grassy

Taste

Cream toffee with orange brittle, spicy malts form, gentle clouds of smoke caress the mouth, forest honey, ripe and almost floury apples, roasted hazelnuts, the grain content can be found on closer inspection and brings a light note of cardboard, bananas, unspectacular oak one-dimensional spices

Finish

A very gentle and just about medium-length finish, the oak seems rather pale, the grain briefly flashes with a slightly snappy alcohol note, roasted aromas, liquorice, dark milk chocolate, apple chips, brittle and caramel, minimal smoke remains with some vanilla, leaves a very light finish furry mouthfeel
