Domenis 1898 LUCE di UVE grappa di MALVASIA 38% Vol. 0,5l in Giftbox

Domenis 1898 obtains this clear and extremely fine grappa from the local grape variety of the same name. 

The fresh marc from the Malvasia comes from selected suppliers and is stored in silos for a few months immediately after the grape harvest. 

Distillation with direct steam is carried out in a discontinuous distillation plant with eight copper kettles to obtain a raw grappa with about 75% alcohol. In the distillation column, the volatile components coming from the distillation flask, which are particularly abundant in the original grape, are separated and concentrated. 

As the water-cooled coils pass through the column, gentle tempering takes place. 

Aging in stainless steel tanks for at least one year gives this grappa a better balance compared to freshly distilled grappa.
