Bushmills Distillery, located in picturesque County Antrim in Northern Ireland, is the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world. Its origins date back to 1608, when Sir Thomas Phillips was granted the first license to produce whiskey in the region. For over 400 years, the art of whiskey production has been cultivated here at Bushmills Distillery and passed down from generation to generation.

This 14-year-old Bushmills single malt Irish whiskey is refined through triple distillation and a special maturation process. It is first matured in first and second fill bourbon casks before being matured for 12 months in rare Malaga wine casks. This refinement gives the whiskey its distinctive ruby red color and a complex flavour profile, in which exotic summer fruits harmonize with warm, spicy wood notes. 

Tasting notes:

Nose: Intense sweet honey, vanilla notes, ripe mandarins, warm spices.
Taste: Fruity after mangoes, pineapple and apricots, ginger, cinnamon aromas, vanilla, warm caramel, milk chocolate, oak wood.
Finish: Long lasting, spicy, vanilla, fruity after apricots and mandarins.
