The Karukera Rhum owes its name to the people who gave the island the name 'Karukera', which means 'the island of beautiful waters'.
This is where Christopher Columbus first moored his fleet in November 1493.
This rum is produced in the oldest distillery on the island — the Hope Distillery.

It is aged for seven years in French Bourbon and Cognac barrels.

Nose: stone fruit, fruit, vanilla, citrus aromas.
Taste: Exotic aromas, dried fruit, cloves, nutmeg, almonds.
Finish: Long lasting, sweet.
