OPIS
The Plantations Rums are no longer a mystery. The excellent rums are mainly collected in the Caribbean and also in South America and then brought to France, where they receive their final touch. In Ars in France, the rum is subsequently stored for several months in small discarded oak cognac barrels. This type of aging is called "double aging", this technique was already used in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Plantation Rum Panama Single Cask White Pineau des Charentes Finish 2008 matures for 12 years in bourbon barrels and then for 1 year in FERRAND barrels. This rum receives its finish in White Pineau des Charentes Casks.
