The Hazelburn 8 Years Old Oloroso Cask Matured is a strictly limited Campbeltown single malt from the traditional Springbank Distillery - one of the last active distilleries in this famous whisky region. Hazelburn is one of three single malts produced at Springbank and clearly stands out from the other bottlings due to its triple distillation and complete absence of smoke. This special production method ensures a particularly soft, elegant and accessible character, which is ideal for lovers of mild but complex whiskies.

This 8-year-old edition was distilled in February 2017 and bottled in March 2025. It was matured exclusively in fresh Oloroso sherry casks, giving the whisky its distinctive fruity sweetness, spiciness and subtle nuttiness. Like all bottlings from the Springbank distillery, Hazelburn is made entirely by hand: from traditional floor malting to bottling, every stage of production takes place on site in Campbeltown. With an alcohol content of 48.2% vol., bottled without chill-filtration and in its natural color, this single malt offers an authentic taste experience. The edition is limited to just 10,500 bottles worldwide, making this whisky particularly collectible. 

Tasting notes:

Color: Deep gold with reddish reflections.
Nose: Sweet cinnamon, cocoa, cranberries and redcurrants.
Taste: Intense berry aromas, strawberry chewing gum, sticky toffee pudding and blackberries.
Finish: Pleasantly nutty with hazelnut and walnut notes.
