Tement OPOC 2023 11% Vol. 0,75l

The Tement winery, located in southern Styria on the border with Slovenia, concentrates primarily on the cultivation of white grape varieties. 95% of its vineyards are planted with varieties such as Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Pinot Blanc, Morillon and Traminer. The wines, which are grouped under the name "Steirische Klassik", come from different vineyards and mature in stainless steel tanks. In addition to the "Steirische Klassik", the winery also produces single-vineyard wines, each of which reflects the characteristic influence of its specific vineyard site and is matured in both large and small wooden barrels.

The grapes for the Tement Welschriesling grow mainly on Opok soils. This wine is matured in stainless steel tanks and has a storage potential of around 3 years. It is sealed with a screw cap, which preserves the quality of the wine. 

Tasting notes:

Light green in the glass. Wonderfully fresh nose of green apples, limes and white flowers. Well-structured acidity on the palate with nuances of green apples, limes and fresh herbs. Long-lasting, juicy and slightly salty on the finish.

Residual sugar: 1.9 g/l

An excellent accompaniment to starters and a Styrian Brettljause.
