DESCRIPTION
The Denshin Haru Junmai Ginjo Muroka is a finely balanced premium sake from the renowned Ippongi Kubo Honten brewery in Fukui, Japan, and part of the seasonally inspired Denshin range. "Haru" means spring - and it is precisely this lightness, freshness and floral elegance that is reflected in this expressive Junmai Ginjo. The name Muroka stands for an unfiltered style in which the sake is not filtered through activated charcoal after pressing - this preserves the natural aroma in a particularly pure and complex way.
Made from carefully polished rice, this sake has a clear structure, elegant acidity and a finely balanced aroma profile. With an alcohol content of 16% vol. and the typical Ginjo finesse, Denshin Haru combines freshness, depth and balanced complexity - a sake for connoisseurs seeking floral lightness with depth and precision.
Tasting notes:
Clear in the glass with a slight shimmer. The nose reveals fresh aromas of pear, white flowers, apple, a hint of melon and fine, sweetish rice notes. On the palate, the sake is silky, floral and finely structured, with restrained sweetness, elegant acidity and a pure, harmonious finish. The absence of activated charcoal filtration ensures a natural, clear taste with noticeable expression.
The Denshin Haru Junmai Ginjo Muroka is ideal with fine starters, steamed fish, steamed vegetables, delicately spiced tofu dishes or light sushi variations such as sashimi or nigiri. It is also an excellent accompaniment to pasta with spring vegetables, fresh goat's cheese or roast chicken with lemongrass. Thanks to its subtle structure, it is also an ideal companion for quiet moments or conscious sake enjoyment when enjoyed on its own - especially at a drinking temperature of 10-15 °C.
