DESCRIPTION

The Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses Rosé Art Édition is more than just a wine; it embodies the essence of the Mediterranean lifestyle and the combination of art and viticulture. This special edition was created in collaboration between Emma Bertrand and the talented Australian artist Morgan Jamieson, whose vibrant artwork adorns the bottle design. The bottle itself features a unique base in the shape of a rose, created by a young designer from École Boulle, making it a real eye-catcher.

This elegant rosé wine comes from the Languedoc region in the south of France and is made from the Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grape varieties. The grapes are carefully selected and harvested separately to ensure optimum ripeness. After a short maceration to extract the desired color, alcoholic fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures to develop maximum aromas. Part of the wine is aged in oak barrels to achieve additional complexity. Once it has matured, it is bottled and sealed with a glass cork.

Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses Rosé Art Édition is not only a pleasure for the palate, but also an aesthetic experience that combines art and wine in perfect harmony.

Tasting notes:

Delicate rosé with brilliant reflections in the glass. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of red fruits such as strawberries and cherries, accompanied by subtle hints of licorice. On the palate, it is surprisingly generous and round, balanced by the freshness of the vintage. Long-lasting and fruity aftertaste of red berries.

Drinking temperature: 13-14 °C

This rosé wine is an excellent accompaniment to dishes such as tartare, marinated wild salmon, sea bream or tuna. It also harmonizes with crustaceans such as lobster and langoustines.
