St. Kilian Distillers Kiliani Edition 2024 IMMINA Single Malt Whisky 46% Vol. 0,5l

On the occasion of the memorial day of Saint Kilian on July 8th, our annual special bottling, the Kiliani Edition 2024, is released. This honors Blessed Immina, abbess in Würzburg and Karlburg. The unique single malt whisky reflects our Franconian region and matured for over five years in former bourbon barrels that were previously filled with the "Brewer's Reserve 1237" from the Faust family brewery in Miltenberg. This special pre-filling gives the whisky a rich bouquet of honey, malty beer notes, creamy toffee, sweet fruit aromas and gently warming oak spice.

• Made from 100% pure barley malt
• Double distilled in our genuine Scottish pot stills on 22.05.2019
• Matured for five years in two 190 litre ex brewer’s reserve barrels (#3862, #3863)

Appearance
Bright, luminous gold

Aroma
An intense scent of honey mead, permeated with fruity notes of ripe apricots and pears, as well as subtle malty beer aromas with gently spicy oak tones.

Taste
A fruity-sweet and creamy composition of honey, juicy apricots and ripe pears, accompanied by gently warming oak spice and creamy toffee, which is harmoniously rounded off by a malty beer note.

Aftertaste
The creamy and mildly warming blend of honey sweetness, fruit and delicate spices lingers for a long time with subtly dry oak notes and a hint of dark toffee.
