This exceptional rum is made from molasses, distilled in a combination of pot still and column still, as is characteristic of Foursquare. The rum is then matured for 16 years in a single barrel under tropical conditions in Barbados. This long, intensive maturation in combination with the warm island atmosphere ensures an enormous concentration of aromas and an impressive depth. It was bottled in cask strength at 65.4% vol., naturally without chill filtration, colorants or added sugar - a prime example of honest, handcrafted rum.
