The Isle of Raasay Cask Strength Hebridean Single Malt 2025 is a powerful cask strength bottling from the innovative Isle of Raasay Distillery, which is located on the Hebridean island of the same name off the Isle of Skye. It is based on the award-winning and unique six-barrel recipe that shapes the character of the distillery. With an alcohol content of 61.6% vol. at natural cask strength, it is unadulterated, authentic and impressively intense.

The maturation is based on a marriage of ex-Rye whiskey casks, fresh Chinkapin oak casks and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks, each of which is filled with both peated and unpeated spirit. This creates the characteristic combination of six cask types, which ensure a perfect balance between light peat smokiness, fruity depth, spice and sweetness. The whisky impresses with its honey-gold color and a fine hint of red wine tones. It is bottled without chill-filtration and without colorants, which guarantees its original purity and quality.

Nose: Dark fruits, sweet malt, red berries, vanilla and fine smoke.

Taste: Intense and complex with notes of dried fruit, toffee, chocolate, oak and subtle peatiness.

The Isle of Raasay Cask Strength Hebridean Single Malt 2025 unfolds its full power at room temperature. It is an excellent accompaniment to mature blue cheese such as Roquefort, grilled meat such as beef steak or lamb chops and desserts such as chocolate fondant or candied fruit. Due to its cask strength, it is also suitable for strong whisky cocktails, such as a Smoky Old Fashioned or a Rob Roy, in which its intense fruity and smoky notes are stylishly emphasized. As a limited vintage edition, it is a real collector's item and a highlight of any whisky tasting.
