The Isle of Raasay Quercus Humboldtii Colombian Oak Single Malt is a limited special bottling from the innovative Isle of Raasay Distillery, which once again demonstrates its flair for experimental cask maturation and unique flavors with this edition. This bottling was matured entirely in Colombian oak (Quercus Humboldtii) - an extremely rare cask wood in the whisky world. This type of oak grows predominantly in the high altitudes of Colombia and gives the whisky its very own, complex aroma profile, which differs significantly from classic maturation in American or European oak.

Founded in 2017, the Isle of Raasay Distillery, located between the Isle of Skye and the Scottish mainland, stands for artisanal production, innovative spirit and a clear focus on origin and terroir. With an alcohol content of 50.7 % vol., no chill filtration and no colorants, this single malt presents itself in its natural form and with intense expressiveness.
