Aberlour A'BUNADH Original Cask Strength Batch No. 78 0,7l in Giftbox

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch No. 78 is a powerful single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside that delivers uncompromising authenticity: unfiltered, uncolored, and bottled at an impressive 60.7% ABV cask strength. Part of the legendary A'bunadh series (Gaelic for "the original"), this bottling honors the distillery's roots and is aimed at discerning connoisseurs who appreciate intense, sherry-forward whiskies.

This Aberlour single malt is matured exclusively in hand-picked Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, giving it its signature aromatic depth and rich color. Each batch in the A'bunadh series is a small-batch release, and Batch No. 78 impresses with its balanced combination of dark fruit, spice, sweetness, and warmth—a true Sherrybomb classic that nevertheless remains nuanced and complex.

It comes in a high-quality gift box that also visually showcases this cask-strength specialty. A must-have for lovers of intense sherry cask whiskies and collectors of rare original bottlings.

Tasting notes:

Color: Deep mahogany with a reddish shimmer.

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch 78 is a whisky best enjoyed neat—ideally in small sips or with a few drops of water to break up the high alcohol strength and reveal additional flavors. It is also ideal as a highlight in a whisky tasting or as a rare gift. For fans of bold, sherry-flavored single malts, this bottling offers an authentic taste experience with depth and character—a true feast for the palate.
