80 km southwest of Florence lies the medieval village of Bolgheri. In addition to 300 hectares of vineyards, wheat, barley, oats, and olives are also grown there. 

Tasting notes:

Dark ruby red in the glass. In the nose fruity, licorice, and fresh mint. At the palate well structured, pleasant, fruity after ripe red berries. Long lasting in the finish.

Grape varieties: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Syrah.
Soil: limestone, rocks.
Maturation: Barrique barrels.
Drinking age: Until 2027.
Drinking temperature: 18-22 °C.
Closure: Natural cork.

This wine is excellent with beef and grilled meats.
