Armagnac Delord Vieil Armagnac Delord Vintage Récolte 2007 40% Vol. 0.7l in Wooden Box

Delord Récolte 2007 is a vintage Armagnac from Gascony, France. The 'Récolte 2007' label points to a single harvest year, so every drop in the bottle traces back to one clearly defined vintage rather than a blend across years.

The Delord house is family-run and has roots going back to 1893, when Prosper Delord started out as a travelling distiller. Knowledge of grape growing, distillation and cask ageing has been handed down within the family ever since. The house works with traditional grape varieties of the region, and the resulting eaux-de-vie rest in oak casks for many years.

This bottling brings together classic Armagnac production and long maturation in wood. Over time the eau-de-vie keeps evolving, building the mix of fruit, spice and oak that mature Armagnac is known for. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle.

It comes in a wooden presentation box, which underlines its vintage character and makes it a fitting gift. With its 2007 harvest year, it suits anniversaries, birthdays or any occasion with a personal link to 2007.

Tasting Note

The source describes the eau-de-vie as developing a characteristic blend of fruit, spice and oak during its long maturation, typical of mature Armagnac.
