Bedin can look back on over 70 years of winemaking tradition, which began when Giacomo Bedin acquired the Cornuda estate in 1948 and planted the first vineyard there to produce wine in small quantities for family and friends. In the decades that followed, his son Giovanni played a key role in the development of the business. As a pioneer among local wine producers, he helped to establish the "Mostra del Vino" in Cornuda and expand the estate's vineyards by planting new vines on the southern slopes of the Colli Asolani.
