The blend brings together single malt and Irish grain whiskies, first matured separately in ex-bourbon casks of American white oak and in Oloroso sherry casks. This initial ageing builds the whiskey's core character, laying down notes of vanilla, malt and fruit before the next stage of maturation begins.

What sets this bottling apart is its finishing period in casks that previously held Caribbean rum for at least seven years. Tasting Note

In the glass, this whiskey shows a warm gold hue with amber glints. The nose brings out Demerara sugar, baked banana and a buttery, popcorn-like note. On the palate it's smooth and floral, with caramelised banana, vanilla and a gentle tropical sweetness. The finish is intense yet mellow, carrying malt, herbal notes and a whisper of tobacco. It's a fine choice served neat or on the rocks, and pairs nicely with desserts like banana bread, caramelised apple cake or dark chocolate — it also shines in cocktails such as an Irish Old Fashioned or a whiskey highball.
