The Douglas Laing's Old Particular range are a particularly sought-after range of individually-selected Single Malt and Single Grain Scotch Whiskies from all over Scotland.

Each is bottled exactly the way the Distiller intended: without coloring or chill-filtration, and at high alcohol strength.

This combination allows the cask to retain the naturally present oils, fats and enzymes in the spirit that enhance the quality of the nose, the mouthfeel and flavour profile of the Whisky.

This Old Particular 12 Years Old Single Cask Malt from the Tormore Distillery.

The Tormore distillery is located deep in the heart of Speyside on a hill surrounded by pine forests. It was named after the Gaelic word Torra Mhoir, which means big hill.

This Single Malt was matured for 12 years in refill barrels DL16277.

It was distilled in August 2010 and bottled in August 2022. 
Bottled at a natural Cask Strength of 48.4%
Limited to 297 bottles exist globally.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Warm toffee sauce to open carrying gingerbread and crème anglaise.
Taste: Strawberry marshmallows, pistachio nuts, more cream and a slight spice.
Finish: Malted barley to the fore, the spice lingers with hints of orange peel (CGL)
