The Epicurean Three Wood is a powerful yet elegant small-batch bottling from Douglas Laing that combines the best of the Scottish Lowlands in a blended malt. This special edition was bottled at a full 54.1% vol. at cask strength and matured in three different types of cask: Ex-bourbon casks, red wine casks and sweet wine casks. This triple maturation gives the whisky a complex, layered aroma profile with fruity, spicy and woody notes.

The Epicurean brand stands for lively, fresh Lowland malts with an urban character - and that is exactly what this Three-Wood edition reflects. Without chill-filtration and without the addition of colorants, this bottling retains its natural character and full aromatic intensity.
