For the production of The Journeys 95% regular barley and 5% woodsmoked barley (smoked with beech and alder wood) are used.
The Journey is matured in six different types of casks: Sherry, Port, Madeira, Marsala, Malaga and GrandCru Bordeaux.

Colour: Bright amber.
Nose: Fruity, spicy, malty, oak, coffee, dark caramel, toffee, slightly oily raisins, hints of baked cookies, vanilla.
Taste: Balanced, raisins, fruitcake, fine oak, bitter oranges, vanilla, toffee, dark caramel.
Finish: Long lasting, sweet smoke, tangerines, soft mocha.
