The unique aspect of Heather Cask Strength lies in its production: it is distilled from 100% peat-smoked barley sourced from Hobbister Moor – an area renowned for its aromatic peat interwoven with purple heather. This heather imparts a characteristic note of fine, floral smoke to the peat and, therefore, to the whisky, subtly blending with the other aromas without overpowering them.

This single malt is bottled at cask strength (63.6% ABV) without chill filtration to preserve its full intensity. It is matured in a combination of first-fill and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, as well as selected refill casks, resulting in a harmonious interplay of sweetness, spice, and smoke. Highland Park HEATHER Cask Strength represents the most powerful expression of the local heather peat, offering a deep and complex flavor experience.
