Because this tequila sets new standards and is in no way comparable to what most of us Europeans previously understood by tequila. 

It is made from 100% blue agaves, which grow on average for 6-10 years before the best of them are harvested for the inicio. 

The Inicio Tequila Extra Añejo matures to perfection in Cabernet Sauvignon barriques for an incredible 5 years.
