Maturation takes place in heavily charred, new American white oak barrels, resulting in intense notes of wood, vanilla, caramel and subtle roasted nuances. The single barrel is matured on the top floor of the warehouses, where the temperature fluctuations are the greatest and the distillate interacts more intensively with the wood.
