Justino's Madeira 10 Years Old MALVASIA 19% ABV 0.75 l is an expressive, full-bodied Madeira fortified wine from Portugal that impressively reflects the characteristic style of the island of Madeira. Produced by the long-established Justino Henriques winery, this high-quality Madeira DOP stands for aromatic depth, balance and exceptional complexity. The grapes are grown at around 700 metres above sea level on the Portuguese island of Madeira on vines that are approximately 20 to 25 years old. Following careful harvesting and selection, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. This Malvasia Madeira then matures for around ten years in used wooden casks, during which time its typical complexity develops. The bottling is based on a cuvée of several wines, each of which was vinified separately and spent at least ten years in wooden casks. With an alcohol content of 19% ABV, this Madeira fortified wine is round, multi-layered and harmoniously structured, with sweetness and acidity perfectly balanced.
