Originally released for the travel retail market, Kilchoman Saligo Bay is a vatting of Islay single malt, matured in bourbon barrels for 5 years.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft cooked fruits with strong vanilla and caramel coming through with the additional ageing in bourbon barrels.

Palate: Butterscotch, toffee, peat smoke and soft citrus fruits with a mouth-filling lingering sweetness.

Finish: A long lingering finish with peat smoke and sweetness very evident.
