The Kracher winery is located in Burgenland, in the Seewinkel region. The family business, which is under the management of Gerhard Kracher, specializes in sweet wines such as Beerenauslesen, Trockenbeerenauslesen and ice wines. In the vineyards are grown Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel and also Zweigelt grapes. Due to the excellent climate and soil conditions, the harvest is always first class.

Tasting notes:

Strong golden yellow with silver reflections in the glass. In the nose fruity after candied orange zest, spicy after wood, honey, vanilla notes. On the palate lively, juicy after ripe apricots, yellow apples, vanilla notes. Long lasting finish with a particularly easy-drinking style.

Grape varieties: 60% Welschriesling, 40% Chardonnay.
Maturation: barriques.
Acidity: 7.1 g/l.
Residual sugar: 205 g/l.
Closure: screw cap.
Drinking temperature: 10-12 °C.

Harmonizes perfectly with sweet desserts such as cardinal slices, apricot dumplings as well as with foie gras terrine.
