The Kracher winery is located in Burgenland, in the Seewinkel region. The family business, which is under the management of Gerhard Kracher, specializes in sweet wines such as Beerenauslesen, Trockenbeerenauslesen and ice wines. In the vineyards are grown Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel and also Zweigelt grapes. Due to the excellent climate and soil conditions, the harvest is always first class.

Tasting notes:

Medium golden yellow in the glass. In the nose fruity of orange zest, grapefruit, hints of roses. On the palate mineral, fruity of oranges, grapefruit, tropical fruits, meadow herbs, roses. Long lasting finish accompanied by a wonderful acidity.

Aging: In new barriques.
Acidity: 6,1 g/l.
Residual sugar: 158,4 g/l.
Closure: Natural cork.
Drinking temperature: 10-12 °C.

Excellent with foie gras and tarte tatin.
