Lokita Mezcal MADRECUISHE 14 YO 47% Vol. 0,7l

Lokita Mezcales are artisanal. The agave is cooked in stone-covered pits, crushed with the Tahona and distilled in small batches in alembics. 

At Lokita we use Espadin and other types of agave to create a wide range of natural, delicious and high quality mezcales. Lokita mezcales are fermented with endemic local yeasts. 

The fermentation tanks are made of pine wood. Our Mezcalero Maestro, Arturo Martinez, carefully monitors the process, regularly listening, smelling, touching and tasting the fermenting mash. We use copper stills for double distillation.

Elaborated with Maguey Madrecuishe (Agave Karwinskii). It is distilled twice in copper stills and aged for 14 years.

Moderately overcooked agave and smoky notes, tangerine, orange, cherry, pineapple, pear and spice

Appareance

Clean, crystalline, fullbodied.

Nose

Moderately overcooked agave and smoky notes stand out to the nose. A subtle expressions of mandarin, orange, cherry, pineapple and pear with a touch of cumin, pepper and cinnamon aromas.

Palate

Full-bodied to the palate.

Finish

An elegant assemblage of citric and fruity flavors enrobe the agave notes of pumpkin, pepper and cinnamon, to close with notes of toffee.
