Plantation / Planteray MAURITIUS ONE-TIME Oceana Collection Limited Edition Rum 2014 50% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

Planteray Rum MAURITIUS ONE-TIME is a limited vintage release from the 2014 harvest that puts the distinctive rum style of Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean, front and centre. It belongs to the Planteray Oceana Collection and is one of the selected One-Time Limited Editions, a series created to showcase particular origins and individual production styles.

Planteray is a brand of Maison Ferrand, known for choosing characterful rums from different countries of origin and for working with a range of ageing conditions. Mauritius has a long history of sugar cane cultivation and, with it, a long connection to rum production. Its tropical climate creates especially intense conditions for cask maturation.

Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, this rum is released at a higher drinking strength that underlines its expressive character. The 0.7 litre bottle comes in a giftbox, which adds to its collectable, limited-edition appeal.

With its 2014 vintage, clearly defined origin and one-off release, this Mauritius rum is of particular interest to enthusiasts who like to compare rum regions. It also reflects the idea behind the One-Time Limited Editions: individual vintages presented not as permanent standard bottlings but as a snapshot of their place of origin.
