OPIS
The Plantations Rums are no longer an insider tip. The excellent rums are mainly collected in the Caribbean and also in South America and then brought to France, where they receive their final touch. In Ars in France, the rum is subsequently stored for several months in small discarded oak cognac barrels. This type of aging is called "double aging", this technique was already used in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Plantation Rum Guyana Single Cask Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey Finish 2007 matures for 13 years in bourbon barrels and then for 1 year in FERRAND barrels. This rum receives its finish in Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey Casks.
