This year, the Rotwand is the namesake of our SLYRS Mountain Edition. With a height of 1884 m it is the highest peak in the Spitzingsee area and a neighboring mountain of our high camp on the Stümpfling.
At an altitude of 1501 m, our whiskey matures in the purest mountain air, with extreme temperature fluctuations of up to 60 degrees and reflects with 50.0% vol. reflect the full power of the mountain.

The SLYRS Single Malt Whiskey Rotwand Mountain special edition is limited to 1884 bottles - 1 bottle per meter of altitude.

Colour: Light amber

Nose: Slightly smoky, harmonious spiciness and dark chocolate

Palate: Oily smoke aromas, pleasant strength, balanced toffee sweetness with light peppery notes

Finish: Long-lasting spiciness with light mineral notes and sweet smoke aromas
