Master Distiller Robert Fleming shows with these Cask Finishes the influence a finish in different casks has on the whisky's aroma and taste. 

Robert has been in the whisky industry since 1974 and has worked at Tomintoul for more than 20 years. 

Today he is responsible for all production processes at the distillery.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Spicy stone fruits and lychees mixed with lemon tart, vanilla pod and ginger cookies.
Flavor: Layers of apricot-filled buns, poached pears and Tarte Tatin bound with black coffee, buttery malt and spice.
Finish: Sweet and warming with notes of cake filled with cream and strawberry trifle that transition into mocha and toasted nuts.
