Veuve Clicquot Champagne ROSÉ Brut 12,5% Vol. 0,75l in Giftbox

Madame Clicquot created the first married rosé in 1818 by adding some red wine to yellow label champagne. The result was Veuve Clicquot Rosé, a fruity and full-bodied expression of the Veuve Clicquot style.

Made using 50 to 60 different crus, the cuvée is based on the traditional blend of Brut Yellow Label: 44 to 48% Pinot Noir, 13 to 18% Meunier, 25 to 29% Chardonnay.

The blend contains a particularly high proportion (25-35%, sometimes 40%) of reserve wines from different harvests (usually 5 or 6); this ensures the consistency of the house style.
The reserve wines, some of which are 9 years old, are aged separately according to the origin of the crus and the years in which the wines were made.
This blend is complemented by 12% red wines using red grapes specially bred and selected to give this rosé a wonderful balance.

Tasting notes:

The strong pink Vintage Rosé is characterized by a complex, fine nose. 

Notes reminiscent of red berries evolve into very noble nuances as it unfolds. 

The palate reveals its strong structure, which leaves a lasting impression in the remarkable finish.

Harmonizes excellently with tuna, shrimps, red fruits, duck or smoked salmon.
