Haithabu was the historical trading metropolis of the Vikings. This honey wine is considered a speciality of the Vikings. 

It is produced in the region around the Baltic Sea fjord "Schlei".

This Viking mead was refined with 25% cherry juice and is considered a fruity alternative to the original. 

It is produced on a small scale in traditional handwork.

Tasting notes:

Juicy red in the glass. In the nose honey and cherries. 

On the palate ripe juicy fruit with full aroma. 

Long lasting, sweet, with honey in the finish.
