Galatrona Petrolo Merlot IGT 2020 14% Vol. 0,75l

The winery Fattoria Petrolo was founded in 1947 and since then has also been a family business. The vineyard covers 26 hectares and is located in Tuscany. In 1980, the owner Luca Sanjust decided to stand out from the crowd and increase the quality.
Today, the wine is showered with awards, as well as positive reviews and is known worldwide.

Tasting notes:

Ruby red in the glass. On the nose of tart chocolate, cinnamon and dark berries. The palate is very juicy and somewhat salty. Juicy fruits like dark berries are in the foreground. Long lasting with fine tannins on the finish.

Aging: In French barriques.
Soil: Clay.
Closure: Natural cork.
Drinking temperature: 18-20°C.
Storage potential: Until 2036.

The red wine goes very well with braised lamb.
