The 2019 vintage was characterized by a warm spring marked by a March with above-normal temperatures.
A rainy May brought a small 15-day delay in flowering. June and July, on the other hand, were very warm with a notable absence of rainfall. In July, a particular heat wave brought with it as many as 5 consecutive days with temperatures above 35°C, balanced, however, by the strong temperature excursions that characterize the
vineyards located in the hills; for once again turns out to be strategic the choice of cultivating vines in the high hills. In the first weeks of September given the lowering of daily temperatures compared to August, there was an intense aromatic synthesis and low consumption of malic; conditions that allowed to obtain wines with fragrant and delicate aromas. Harvest from mid-September with 10 days of postponement.
