S.B.S stands for Single Barrel Selection, which means that in this 1423 product line, only one barrel is filled for each product. Each barrel is selected according to strict criteria and offered in a limited number of bottles. The entire S.B.S range comprises only classic rums, no blends, in order to emphasize the versatility of rums as well as their unique quality and exquisite taste.

Single Barrel Selection Panama 2002 is an exceptional single cask rum made from molasses and distilled in column stills in 2002. After maturing for many years in an ex-bourbon barrel, it was bottled in August 2024 with a strong alcohol content of 59% by volume.

This limited bottling - restricted to just 299 bottles - offers an impressive spectrum of aromas and a deep, multi-layered taste structure that will delight connoisseurs and collectors alike.
